Wedding photography at The Pumphouse Hotel
11th May 2011
It’s a glorious Autumn afternoon in Melbourne when we photograph the beautiful wedding of Kathryn and Richard.
We meet Kathryn at the Park Hyatt Hotel where she is getting ready.
Her room’s view over St Patrick Cathedral is breathtaking and so is our stunning bride.
We take a few shots in the hotel foyer. What a lovely place for our Bridal Photography.
She strolls with her bridal party towards the Melbourne Registry office.
We precede her in order to meet Richard and also to get a ring shot before the ceremony.
Our groom is in the picturesque waiting room and he seems pretty relaxed as he jokes with his groomsmen.
The ceremony starts with Kathryn’s big entrance.
We always love to capture the expression of the groom when he sets eyes on his bride.
A tender kiss seals their union.
After they tie the knot, we exit the Melbourne Registry Office for a few quick shots on its steps, including a traditional group photo.
For the Formal Wedding Photography we walk to the Carlton Gardens. We incorporate in our photos the interesting architecture of the Royal Exhibition Building and the Imax. We love the contrasting building styles.
We reach the Carlton Gardens where we are blown away by the vivid colours of the foliage in this gorgeous Autumn afternoon in Melbourne.
We love when our clients play up to the camera.
We cross the road to capture our beautiful couple being announced at their reception, held at the classy The Conservatory Restaurant at The Pumphouse Hotel.
We love the Batman and Catwoman Wedding Cake.
The Conservatory Restaurant at The Pumphouse Hotel is such an interesting space to photograph. We let our creativity take over.
We photograph the Bridal Waltz, such a moving moment of this wonderful evening.
Congratulations Kathryn and Richard.
