Wedding Photography at Parliament House and The Windsor Hotel
9th December 2011
In the most wet November day ever, we are at the Melbourne Registry Office to photograph the wedding of Tristan and Tomi.
We photograph family and friends as they arrive at the Registry Office and we get our couple to pose for a few shots before the ceremony.
Once everybody has taken their places, it is time for Tristan to walk down the aisle with her father.
There is so much emotion in Tomi’s expression when he sets eyes on his bride.
The old world feel of the Melbourne Registry Office is complemented by the classic cut of Tristan’s dress thus creating nostalgic and timeless images. The use of Black and White enhances this feeling.
Tristan and Tomi exchange rings and a passionate kiss to seal their union.
Once the papers have been signed and all the guests have congratulated the couple, we exit the building.
The guests have formed two rows either side of the door. Our couple walk along an “aisle” of umbrellas.
It’s raining hard. We find refuge under the trees and buildings of Macarthur Street where we capture the traditional family photos.
Our couple walks the short distance to Parliament House protected by an umbrella. We love the reflection on the wet footpath.
The Circle Tram in the background, an icon of Melbourne.
The Formal Wedding Photography at Parliament House includes a Bridal Waltz and also a fun moment of Meta photography.
We cross the road and walk into The Windsor Hotel, where our couple is staying for the night.
We are overjoyed with having the chance to take photographs inside this Melbourne landmark.
The Windsor Hotel is the perfect backdrop for our style of Photography, which is all about Nostalgia.
We roam the hall, the stairs and the corridors capturing our couple in this classy establishment and feeling as if we travelled back in time.
It is time for Tristan and Tomi to join their guests at The Cricketers Bar, where we take the lasts shots before toasting our lovely couple. Congratulations Tristan and Tomi!
