Surprise Wedding Photography in Melbourne
17th December 2013
We are at the Melbourne Registry office to photograph a Surprise Wedding.
Our lovely couple, Victoria and Clayton, plan was to marry and to surprise their friends the day after, in occasion of the couple combined 30th birthday party.
The only people witnessing the wedding are the couple’s close family.
As it happens with weddings at the Melbourne Registry Office, we meet our clients on the wedding day.
We are delighted to see how cute this couple is. Victoria has a short dress with a vintage design and Clayton is very elegant in a light blue suit.
The Melbourne Registry Office is quite busy on a Saturday, so we use the time to shoot a few family photos and a few informal shots of our couple.
On this occasion we are also filming this wedding. You can see the results on our Youtube Channel:
The wedding takes place in the intimate Thomas Hyde Room.
Our groom is a bit nervous and struggles with his vows and with the wedding ring, to the hilarity of his bride and the family.
Once the knot is tied and the papers signed, our gorgeous couple exit the Registry Office in triumph.
We move to the Treasury Gardens for the formal family photos and then we have Victoria and Clayton all to ourselves for the formal wedding photography.
The Treasury Gardens offer a few beautiful locations for our wedding photography.
We walk back towards the City and photograph our couple in a few locations in the “Paris End” of Collins street.
Tracing our steps we return to Spring Street, where we are fortunate to encounter the beautiful old City Circle Tram.
A Limo has arrived to pick up our cute couple away to dinner. We congratulate them and leave happy in the knowledge that we have captured many wonderful images of this wedding.
