Melbourne Wedding Photography at The Willows on St Kilda Road
6th June 2010
One of our first jobs as Melbourne Wedding Photographers was Lisa and Craig’s wedding, celebrated at one of Melbourne most renowned venues: The Willows in St Kilda Road.
We started the day photographing the groom and the bride preparation in different locations, at the couple’s house in Gowanbrae and the bride’s parents’ house in Greenvale.
After a mad dash to the city, we arrived at The Willows to photograph Lisa’s entrance, escorted by her dad and two cheeky flower girls.
We loved capturing Craig’s expression as he set eyes on his beautiful bride.
The ceremony was conducted in The Willows Courtyard. A beautiful landscaped garden with the Victorian mansion’s façade on the background, it was the perfect setting for our Melbourne Wedding Photography.
After the couple tied the knot, it was time for the Formal Wedding Photography. We started with a mix of Urban and Landscape Photography using the buildings and trees along St Kilda Road.
More Formal Wedding Photography was set in the intimate Bridal Suite at The Willows, with beautiful natural light coming from the large bay windows. We then photographed the couple outside, with the Victorian façade in the background.
We moved to The Willows Conservatory for the photo journalistic coverage of the reception. We got some interesting photos when our couple was cutting the cake, both from inside and outside the Conservatory.
We finished the day with some fun shots of the couple and their guests on the Conservatory dance floor. A wonderful day for these Melbourne Wedding Photographers.
