A relaxing weekend down the Penisula with a wedding in Mornington
24th October 2011
It was certainly a weekend of contrasts. Saturday’s weather overcast and threatening rain with Sunday’s weather glorious and full of promise for the coming summer.
Work wise also a weekend of contrast. Saturday morning started with a pre-wedding meeting with the delightful Nadine and Pete at the Portsea Hotel – known to most of us as the Portsea Pub. We are very much looking forward to shariing their special day in a few weeks from now. The Portsea Pub is fantastic place to have a wedding and the locations around will certainly produce stunning wedding photography images!
Saturday afternoon was spent with the adorable Natalia and James. Married at the lovely Benito’s receptions in Mt Eliza. Grey skies didn’t dampen the spirit of the joyous occasion with the rains kindly holding so this beautiful couple could be married outside in the gardens whilst their many family members looked on (yes there were quite a few – so you can imagine the family photos took a while!)
Sunday belonged to us – the first in a while! An early morning visit to the blissful Peninsula Hot Springs, a decent pub lunch at the Royal Hotel in Mornington and then a heavenly afternoon spent on a lounge chair in our backyard with a good book. Nice.
But I digress..
Natalia and James, it was wonderful to share your special day, meet your gorgeous children and exuberant family. We wish you all the very best for your future together and look forward to delivering your photos to you.
Stay tuned for the images!
